Getting Started

Welcome to Trogent! This guide will help you create and deploy your first AI agent across multiple platforms.

System Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Web Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions)
  • Solana Wallet: Phantom, Solflare, or any Solana-compatible wallet
  • Internet Connection: Stable connection for real-time features

Platform-Specific Requirements

  • Telegram Integration: Telegram account and Bot Token (from @BotFather)
  • Website Integration: Website where you want to embed the chat widget

Authentication

Trogent uses Solana wallet authentication for secure, decentralized access:

  1. Install a Solana Wallet: Download Phantom, Solflare, or your preferred wallet
  2. Connect Wallet: Click “Connect Wallet” on the Trogent platform
  3. Sign Message: Sign the authentication message with your wallet
  4. Access Granted: You’ll be redirected to the dashboard

Note: Your wallet address serves as your unique identifier. No email or password required!

Creating Your First Agent

Step 1: Access the Platform

  1. Visit the Trogent platform
  2. Connect your Solana wallet
  3. Navigate to the Dashboard

Step 2: Create New Agent

  1. Click “Create New Agent” from the dashboard
  2. Name Your Agent: Choose a unique, descriptive name
  3. Select AI Model: Choose from available models (GPT-4o-mini recommended)
  4. Configure Personality:
    • Write a detailed personality description
    • Define tone and communication style
    • Set behavioral guidelines and restrictions

Step 3: Platform Configuration

Telegram Setup

  1. Get Bot Token:
    • Message @BotFather on Telegram
    • Create a new bot with /newbot
    • Copy the bot token
  2. Configure in Trogent:
    • Paste the bot token
    • Set custom username (optional)
    • Configure message buffering (default: 3 seconds)

Website Widget Setup

  1. Configure Widget:
    • Set welcome message
    • Choose theme colors
    • Configure positioning (bottom-right recommended)
    • Enable auto-initiate if desired
  2. Get Embed Code: Copy the generated JavaScript code
  3. Install on Website: Add the code to your website’s HTML

Step 4: Knowledge Base (Optional)

Enhance your agent’s intelligence with custom knowledge:

  1. Upload Documents: PDF, DOC, or TXT files (max 400KB)
  2. Add Text Content: Direct text input for specific information
  3. Scrape Websites: Automatically extract content from URLs
  4. Test Knowledge: Use the search feature to verify content indexing

Step 5: Launch Your Agent

  1. Review Configuration: Double-check all settings
  2. Save Agent: Click “Create Agent”
  3. Monitor Status: Watch for “Active” status in the dashboard
  4. Test Interaction: Send a test message on your configured platforms
